To Remind Us Why We Are Seeking Internet Marketing Information

Mind food comes any many guises nowadays: There are talking books on tape or cd, talking books or podcasts that you can download to your ipod or mp3 player and of course traditional reading a book. While I have used all of the above at one time or another (I use my ipod mini regularly to listen when I am driving) there is nothing quite like picking up a book and physically reading the words. Two titles I have come across recently may interest you.

The first is by Robert T Kiyosaki with Sharon L Lechter c.p.a. and called “Rich Dad Poor Dad”. It has as usual with American style business “How to books” a lot of references to the property market but look beyond that and the reasons and dynamics of being in business are well laid out for those willing to learn.

The second is David J Schwartz and is titled “The Magic of Thinking Big”. I enjoyed this book very much as it gives a lot of principles for life, attitude and interaction with other people. One of the sections does deal with visualisation and the power of imagination, a subject I have dealt with under “Your Dreams” on this site.

Another very useful resource is 'The Marketers Podcast' by Alan Stewart. I have found this resource brilliantly informative and entertaining. It covers virtually all aspects of internet marketing and related subjects that I find very useful. Some of the best ones are for example: John Mann - The Keyword Man, Ed Keay-Smith's Marketing with Google Adwords and an interview with Russell Wright - the noted search engine analyst. These are just a few of the abundant treasure trove of information. Without doubt you will learn something from these interviews and I can't reccommend them enough. You can find the latest on I-tunes but I also reccomend going to The Marketers Podcast website to down load all the previous editions as well. You do not need a personal Ipod or Mp3 player as you can listen to them on your computer and if necessary burn them to cd and listen to them while you are driving.
